Hi all, I decided to prune my TBBETA IMAP mailbox which contains 7800 messages.
I first exported 6500 of them for local storage. That export took about 15 minutes from execution to when the dialog appeared for saving the export file. TB! is running on the same machine as the server. Deleting was different. I haven't been able to delete those 6500 messages with TB!. I eventually had to use Mozilla Mail to do so and it readily did it at that. So it would seem that it may be worthwhile to have a look at optimizing how TB! handles these large message loads when moving, exporting and deleting. Exporting works, though it takes a long time. Deleting and moving just don't. :( -- -= Allie =- .....
