My reply... I agree. I use regular expressions all the time in perl programming. The ritlabs implementation, however, provides a few unique situations. I know that the | symbol is or and in perl, milman|deshawn would find either milman or deshawn, the first one that it comes to. The Bat seems to get confused if both are together as in "milman deshawn".
