Or just set the options for presumed spam mail to not change the
subject line.

With GMX I tried out the "possible spam" this summer - for two mail
downloads. I then changed it back because BayesFilter works much
better. Since spam-marked messages still get downloaded I didn't find
any advantage in getting them marked.

Why add a filter if a ready-made solution is at hand.
