Hi all, I have a common incoming filter set up that looks for a POPFile spam classification and sets a color group and user param. I run four of my POP accounts through POPFile and have the filter shared with all four.
So I'm looking at one of my account logs, and notice: >10/16/2004, 23:43:26: FETCH - received message from [EMAIL PROTECTED] (3876 bytes) >(processed by "Mark SPAM", "Mark SPAM", "Mark SPAM", "Mark SPAM", "Delete certain >SPAM", deleted) Note that the "Mark SPAM" filter fired four times. Ah, I thought; it's firing once for each time it's shared. I unchecked one of the accounts, but instead of firing three times on the next spam it fired five! I re-checked the fourth account, and of course it now fires six times. Apparently, each time I edit it, it fires an additional time. Kind of a Monty Python filter. I've taken time away from TB! to stew about 3.0, and am just now getting back into the NFS. I gotta say the whole thing feels like a house of cards. I take time so set it up just so, but suspect that if I look at it cross-eyed it'll fall apart.
