However, IMAP performance is overall, definitely slower for me. Even with TB! running on the same machine as the server, delays can be long. At work, while browsing TBBETA, I'm plagued with delays in message body retrieval. I have a feeling this has to do with new headers being added to the list. I have the folder set not to synchronise. However, it would seem that if new messages are detected and I move to another unread message, I now have to wait for the headers to be sync'd before the message body is retrieved. If TBBETA is busy, this can be mighty tedious. Additionally, there's a separate problem where I select a quiet folder and the message I wish to view takes a long time to appear. I'm not really sure why there's a delay since TB! is running on the same machine as the server. Furthermore, that sort of delay wasn't there before.
