It was a long time ago, when I was a total newbie, running v. 1.61 on
Win95. I would think I was closing a View Folder window--would have
the windows closely cascaded--and would catch TB!'s Main Window X. No
back-up would have been run for a considerable amount of mails.

Win95 would then suddenly decide to act up and give me a blue screen
of death. (At that time Zone Alarm was still in the mix, also,as I
recall.) I had been trying out making filters, too. Lost some mails
from a sister I'm very close to. Fortunately, she had saved a copy and
simply re-sent them to me.

As I said, all a long time ago. :)

Always. TB! is wonderful.

My practice now. And a long time since I've had any ill effects. But I
could, from my long-ago bad experience, see the opposite point of
view.

If this option is offered, I will not enable it. I will keep the
default X box closure, because it is what I am used to.

Forgot who said this. Don't think I did. If I did, I was sleepwalking,
as I myself do not need such an option. Just want those who do, to have
it. Like HTML and IMAP and so much more. Many Bat features that are
essential to others and that I don't use at all.

Yes. I would hate that. Keep the present behavior default. Let that
box thingy be completely optional. :)

Yes. Agree. See the point completely.

Good deal. So let the ones who want it write the feature request. :)
