Confirmed. Gmail's POP3 and SMTP both work very smoothly in TB. And it
is very easy to configure TB for both.

An interesting plus for Gmail's POP3 - for me - has been that Gmail's
powerful spam control has eliminated around 98% of my spam. That is
better results than I have gotten with BayesIt or MailWasher. In case
there is a false positive (very rare, but it happens), the mail is not
lost. You can still retrieve the false positive for 30 days and also
train Gmail (at least it's supposed to accept training) to recognize
that mail as valid.
