Seems to be working fine here. I'm able to be reading mail at work

I set it for 6 connections which TB! established on a restart just
fine.

Spoken too soon. :( I guess I was excited. :)

Anyway, though the connections are established, they aren't durable and just a while back, TB! wouldn't establish more than 2 connections and refused to do a message retrieval even though the connection center showed nothing in the queue. I select the message and nothing at all happens.

It's as though the connections go all awry with time though things are nicely energetic and spiffy after the initial startup. It didn't take long for this to occur either. I had been running TB! for about 10 minutes. Amounts to a stability issue I'd say in that there are problems with maintaining those multiple connections and using them efficiently. :( OTOH, no such problem with ThunderBird that I had running since this morning, came back to it this evening and quickly accessed the new beta announcement and the first set of responses about it.

An important developmental step. I applaud this. :) I was actually
using ThunderBird pretty much exclusively for the last week or more.
I'll be using TB! exclusively again to see how it goes.

I can no longer promise this. Back to ThunderBird. Will test the next build.
