I think I misread the question, at least misinterpreted it! I was
thinking the poster wanted to change date order, as in dd//mm//yyyy or
yyy//mm//dd

Sorry. Although I too feel i have seen an option to cite which day of
the week is "the first", but can't find it. May be I am confusing the
latter with options on some web mailing list subscriptions..
