Sorry for being unclear. I am concerned about text files that are
included as attachments.
The problem I face is that TB treats a pure text file as a message
that I will want to read rather than a file that I will want to save
to disk in its original format.
What I would like to see is something that corresponds with the
UltraEdit option for
Load/Save/Conversions. You are given three choices for UNIX/Mac file
detection/conversion:
o Disable
o Detect file type and prompt to change
o Automatically convert to DOS format
As things stand, I have no choice at all. TB (or some higher power)
simply imposes the third option - "Automatically convert to DOS
format".
