I think earlier posts identified BayesFilter, as opposed to BayesIt, as the program that might be the problem. I am running BayesFilter on XP with SP2; and I should stress that there was no problem when the configuration was BF on my XP SP1. True Paul, for some reason the folder was called TheBat2.0 no matter what version I installed... but the program ran flawlessly. >> Mary what I may end up doing, if I don't jump to another mail program, >> is installing my old hard drive into my new machine as a back up,but >> will keep the OS and maybe run TB! from there, if it isn't too >> impractical to do so. I dread the thought of a "clean install" almost as much as the jump to a new email program. In any case, I did try a clean install here on the new computer; had to re-set up all the templates and settings... or would have if the hang problem didn't rear its ugly head before I could get all the settings in.
