I keep a folder of known good mail and another with known spam that I
can use when I have to re-train. It helps a lot. I keep between
1,000 and 3,000 messages in each.

However, in the past I have had problems trying to train on that large
a base all at once and have taken to training on between 300 and 400
messages at a chunk to prevent crashes.
