this error is created by the win32 function gethostbyname(server). it seems that the dns requests of the plugin are blocked by your firewall or anything else. try to temporary disable your firewall and check if the error comes again. if you get the same error your provider may block them. so it is better to disable the dns feature to get mails faster. has anybody else such errors (only visible with verbose logging)?
