The Meo is available for whatever message I want it to have, you can only get at it through the menu View/Auto-view. Which is more misleading considering that you can actually view a memo through a column in the message list ... The second part of my message - the new message one - was added because I just started to write my first question after I opened the Memo editor (to add a Memo to an archived message) and this ... Memo editor stayed in front of my text.
