That wasn't the point of discussion but rather if you could confirm or not the bug report in your system. If you're using a later version and that specific bug doesn't apply you should have advice an upgrade instead of querying if he shouldn't be using a later version without even testing. It's like asking about the weather and someone replying if you shouldn't have bought the newspaper or something like this...
