Dierk, maybe it comes up - or something like it - because this discussion is not "idiotic" at all. People have opinions and concerns. Just because their opinions and concerns differ from yours does not make them "idiotic". Regarding my three questions posed to 9Val, I don't recall seeing a meaningful answer to any of them in the archive. So, if you or Marck or anyone else can point me to the appropriate place in the archive where those questions received a substantive response, I will humbly apologize. Otherwise, I think that you should consider being more patient with - and tolerant of - those who think differently than you. And, by the way, yes I know that an answer of "when it's ready" has been given to the timing question. But I don't consider that to be a significant reply. An answer like that only ensures that the same question will be asked again periodically. Most people want to get a concrete date when a question like that is asked. Most software companies I know work with target dates for releases. That is all that many of us want to know - the current target date for the next beta release. Of course I had two additional questions, but I tend to be more curious than most people. :-) -- Avi Yashar Windows XP Pro SP2 and The Bat!
