They were not rhetorical questions. And, in case you did not notice
the distinction, Ritlabs is not "squashing bugs" but resolving "known
issues". Believe it or not, there is a huge difference.

Pardon me, I don't think that my questions were "same old" - except
maybe the timing one, which (as I said) is almost certain to come up
again and again if no concrete target date is given.

I know of many lists that forbid certain topics. However, I don't see
why my questions - asked respectfully - should be forbidden. I have
not flamed anyone.

Logically, that would prove nothing. Anyway, 9Val can resolve all of
this discussion quite easily, and I am now - and always was - prepared
to wait days to get his response (or even to get no response at all
from him if he chose not to answer). What I was not prepared for was
the vitriol which I got from some list participants in response to my
simple and sincere questions (based in large part from my checking
tbbeta mail on a daily basis just to see if a new beta had been
released for me to test).
