Hello Mary, A reminder of what Mary Bull on TBBETA typed on: 15 February 2005 at 21:01:12 GMT +0100
MB> Clique--it's spelled "clique" School teachers, this list is full of them. You'll be telling me I spell colour wrong next. I walk on a Pavement, my car has a Boot and Hoods are things coats have to keep your ears warm. Tomato is pronounced tomata as is potata. Jelly goes in a trifle *without* peanut butter, and chips don't come in a foil bag, crisps do. Pants are worn under trousers and Jam makes a lovely sandwich... Also without peanut butter. Pancakes are something you have once a year with lemon juice on and Cornflakes are for breakfast. Please, stop correcting me, I'm 48 not 8 and I don't give a damn how to spell anything as long as people understand what I'm talking about. Which most don't anyway. Click is an English word, clique looks French to me and I 'ain't French. -- Best regards, Tony. _____________________________________________________________ Message composed on 15/02/2005 at 20:14 UTC 2004 - AWB Using The Bat! v3.0.2.10 on :gentoo: www.gentoo.org
