Other than compatibility, I struggle to think of a meaningful reason for using inline PGP signatures. If you send PGP/MIME signatures to this list, you don't have to worry about users not being able to verify your sigs since the overwhelming majority use TB!, a PGP/MIME aware client, while others use clients that are also PGP/MIME aware. I'd recommend stretching Enigmail's legs a bit and setup a recipient specific rule for these lists to have posts PGP/MIME and not inline signed.
