I must admit I had not paid attention to this till now and I must also
say that I find this new feature (also available for new messages,
although Stefan doesn't mention it) as a really great addition. It is
certainly a great new feature that will allow me (us) to easily start a
new message or a reply using a "Favourite template". Great idea!!

However, on doing some testing, I found something that I don't like and
that I don't know if it is intended or can be considered a bug.

When starting a new message selecting one of my "favourite QTs" the
editor is opened with the selected QT contents as it should. But when I
filled the To: field with a name and address from my AB (who has a New
template defined), this AB template overrode the one I had selected from
"favourites".

I don't know what others will think but, in my case, I would prefer that
the template I select from "favourites" takes precedence over any other
template, whether account, folder or AB. If I want to use AB templates I
can just start a new message from the button, and not from the
"favourites" drop down menu, and the AB template will be used as soon as
I fill the To: field.

I'd like to hear what others think.
