From one of my UNIX servers, using another client, you can see many
simultaneous connections, on just a few folders:

tcp4 192.168.0.6.993 192.168.0.5.1162 ESTABLISHED
tcp4 192.168.0.6.993 192.168.0.5.1161 ESTABLISHED
tcp4 192.168.0.6.993 192.168.0.5.1160 ESTABLISHED
tcp4 192.168.0.6.993 192.168.0.5.1159 ESTABLISHED
tcp4 192.168.0.6.993 192.168.0.5.1150 ESTABLISHED
tcp4 192.168.0.6.993 192.168.0.5.1149 ESTABLISHED
tcp4 192.168.0.6.993 192.168.0.5.1148 ESTABLISHED
