Dear Marck,
dear Stefan,

you let us know -at least in parts- :

CF>> Access violation at address 0059DA9A in module 'thebat.exe'. Read of

I can fully subscribe to your point!

I have encountered this problem only if my old mailbase (old= 1,6GB from
Versions 2.x and above) is restored. When I uninstal all of TB (each and
every folder, reg-settings and and and) then reinstall it properly from
last stable major version and do not import my mailbase (just my
addressbook) I can run even 3.09.4 -without AVs at least. I simply have
to trash my mailbase and might be able to participate of the new code.
Now I can not betatest any further, real avalanches of the shown AVs
show up directly with the splashscreen. For me that's no way to go, too.
Either the codeweavers have to find out what is going wrong with it or I
am determined to use V 3.02.08. I this case I would better change my
client.

My except.log shows the following:
> /Charlene 11.03.2005 19:34:04 GifImage:5 EReadError Stream read error
> /Charlene 11.03.2005 21:36:28 GUIDEF:Item [mAppMinimise] is linked to unknown
> property [<unknown>]
> /Charlene 11.03.2005 21:36:28 GUIDEF:Item [mAppMinimise] is linked to unknown
> property [<unknown>]
> /Charlene 11.03.2005 21:36:28 GUIDEF:Cannot bind layout item
> [mwDownloadWizards] to property collection [MailerForm]

But that was probably before 3.0.9.5, the latest version might not have
been able to write its log.

I expect TB to be at least downward compatible to all versions, I am not
willing to dump my mails for some new features.

In 3.0.9.4 Rit announced a better combining of split mails which I was
real curious of. Remember, I had and still have troubles in receiving
split mails. TB freezes and gets inaccessible, and I am not the only
one.

Please, Stef, do something!
