Hi 9Val, Dienstag, 15. Mrz 2005, 21:40:
MS>> But as you see in the age of IMAP it's a failure. Or does RITlabs want MS>> their users to set the timeout to 5+ min so that bigger emails can be MS>> uploaded to the IMAP-Server? > Will the users be happy to see a lot of staying in > connection centre requests if server-dropped connection will > be found 5+ minutes later? It is double-sided problem, so I > think who often sends big emails can adjust one setting. It's absurd to get into account settings everytime to change some toggles to send an email just to have it stored correctly on the server. Other eMailClients like KMail, Thunderbird, etc. can handle the difference between incoming and outgoing connections - the user hasn't to check settings everytime and can just work. So you say TheBat! still will be third choice for IMAP-Users in the future. Great look out! regards Michael -- Man umgebe mich mit Luxus. Auf das Notwendige kann ich verzichten.
