Thanks. The arrows were grayed out until I selected an item in MEdit
and so pale that I could not even tell they were there. I had to click
on the highlighted item to make them show.

Now, I did this:
====================================================
1. Open Customise
2. Select available Itms mEdit (root)
3. Select Container Main Menu (menu bar) or another
4. Click on the green right-arrow
5. Get AV for that :-).
=====================================================

But I did not get an AV. Perhaps I have still not followed your
directions properly. I am going to play with "Customise" some more--it
looks very interesting.

For this one, the AV popped up as predicted:
=======================================================================
1. Open Customise
2. Select Container Main Menu (menu bar) or another
3. Select a Current Itms
4. Click on the left-arrow to remove all of the itms
5. Get AV when you click on the left-arrow if there are no more itms
=======================================================================

"Access Violation at address 005BB5CE in module 'thebat.exe'. Read of
address 00000014."

At least, it left on an OK button click and didn't cascade. :)
