Should have written above "*with* the 'check out-going mail for viruses box'
empty." Sorry for the confusion.

But I did not think this mail went. The response was a cascading
series of viruses, ending with TB! closing itself. So I have dropped
back to v. .13, and the first thing I get on checking mail is the
message that I thought did not go.

Bizarre!! Bizarre in spades!

I am flabbergasted. This message went, even though I did not see it go
and was covered up with cascading AVs upon sending it. I was able to
write down "address 7C901095" before the show ended and TB! closed
itself.

Even though the message went, this is a show-stopper for me. :(
