I'm behind a router, and I'm running the software firewall Sygate. In addition to the anti-virus program F-Secure 2005. Although I trust tbbeta's anti-virus set-up also, I'm not willing to download any e-mail with my anti-virus program disabled. Even though it's quite likely that v. .16 is being interfered with by that program in such a way as to cause the AVs. I'm going to see if AVs happen if I click "Receive" while off-line, using .16. I know I'll get a message "Could not connect to server." But at least I'll have pinpointed whether it's in trying to bring up the Connection Centre that the error happens. -- Best regards, Mary The Bat 3.0.9.13 Return on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.0.9.16 Return | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
