Alexander, Trying to stay out of trouble with the moderator here. Can I have folder specific settings relative to html? No. Must be done in the message view menu. Will TB need to be reset back to html next time I send a message? I suspect. Speaking of frustrations, to not be able to use a capability that TB clearly has even when everybody else should have the same capability, and then to be invited to not offer to discuss the issue because (by implication) others have already contributed everything I could think of. But we should accept our frustrations. They are part of living. Right?

The chosen path is correct > given that a new GUI is wanted/needed. One way to write software is to decide in advance every feature that a program will have and to not allow this to be changed once it has been established. Makes for great efficiency, and you can be assured that software writers try to do it that way. But what happens is that we learn about the needs of the program and users as we go along, and we see that competitors have devised a feature that it is hurting us to not include. The "in advance" way is great theory, but it doesn't work in the long run. My experience tells me that changing the interface does not generally require great changes to the internal workings of the program. I am reminded of a similar discussion I have had with Slaven of Pocomail. I even used TB as an example of a relatively complete email implementation that he could emulate, rather than adding unfinished product after product. No, he was not happy with me. The path of the most money is the path he chose. The unhappy truth is that features sell software. Fixing things that don't work right makes current users happy, but they aren't buying new software. Another frustrating reality. I recommend it to you. -- Gleason Using The Bat! v3.0.9.17 Return on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.0.9.17 Return | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
