And a third time. Immediately upon clicking on the transfer icon, AV
stating "Address 004444C0 ...  Read of 00000008."

Only message being downloaded was my own, to which I'm replying, and
it did download and took its place in the tbbeta folder message list.

AV window closed with no problem when I clicked OK.

Sounds like this is local to me, as no one has commented except Marek,
asking if I can reproduce. Answer is no, it seems to be random.
