I agree in all points, Allie. The way Mulberry (I know you have it) handles this is great. One can selectively download an attachment and more than that, the size is shown before downloading. The only way to "guess" the size of an attachment is to view the whole message size... :/ When retrieving an attachment it would be great to go on reading. This is not possibly because of the "download progress bar" which shows up and "replaces" the message.
