You're using IMAP over SSL right? In the past, I've NEVER had TB! IMAP working with SSL encryption. The connection keeps going awry. I've reported this many times. OTOH, IMAPS connections work perfectly when using ThunderBird and Mulberry. I don't know what's the problem with TB!. For the last 45 minutes or so I have been using IMAPS with TB! which has been working well.
