Ouch.  I'm sure that'd probably be a good cause as to why TB kept
disconnecting on me.  I have some folders that are over 65k folders,
I'm sure my IMAP server might take a while to start processing all
those files.

That's a difficult task to do. The UID FETCH 1:* is probably the
easiest way to do it, and doesn't really add too much of a load. If
you'll be performing a SEARCH, it'll probably take a lot more effort
on the part of the IMAP server (I have not been able to run a good
SEARCH on my TBBETA archive in a long while).
