Hm, if you get the "an error log is being generated" stuff, it's usually Microsoft's Dr Watson utility. On my system (XP) it dumps its error logs in the following location (ok, not the first place anyone would look, I agree ;) C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson Maybe you've got a similar log dir on your Win2000 system.
