Yes, I wondered if that was part of the equation after my discussion with Mary. It actually parallels a problem I have with Micro-ed. In this case if I have a message that is quite lengthy and I "Reply" to it, then select all the text at the bottom of the message that you can see and delete it. Instead of the screen scrolling down to fill the screen all undeleted words remain out of sight above the message pane.
