So, the question actually is: why > is it so important that the real file name appears in the title bar of > the window displaying it? In many cases, like for example for PNGs and > other graphics, the built in viewer of TB is used. I am quoting only part of your excellent and clear comments, just to have a little context here within which to thank you. I understand the issues involved a lot better now. People who store attachments with message bodies can do that one extra step of using "Save" and then they won't have to re-write the file name in their text-editor/word processor application. Having it set up this way will save potential confusion and the time potentially to be lost in dealing with it. Thanks a mil. This was a whole new area for me, as I have always saved attachments separately and never ran into the issue until this week. :) -- Best regards, Mary The Bat 3.5 Return RC9 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.5 Return RC/9 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
