Try this, it's what I did just right now:
  View -> Customise
  Select a container, in this case:
  Main Form -> Standard (toolbar)
  Select an action (I added two, but that shouldn't matter)
  I picked as action 'Mark as Junk' and 'Mark as not junk'
  They can be found at MsgCtl
  Select the action and press the button with the arrow to the right,
  this will add it to the toolbar.
  OK the customise menu away and your main toolbar has a new and (over
  here) functioning item.
