I wish I could say I'm surprised that Ritlabs issued a new release with this well documented bug that inhibits a rather prominent piece of user interface, but I'm really not. With each new release you get some new cool features and you have to hope that your previous favorite features didn't get trashed and everything that used to work okay still does. This new release was months in the making, yet still feels like it was rushed out the door at the last minute.
