Hi Mary, ah now we are talking about me. ;-) We should talk about TB, not about me. But I don't have a problem with that. See, I'm not experiencing a burn-out syndrome as betatester and I don't feel pain about the bugs I still see in the program. It's more like I'm considering myself useless because nobody deals with cosmetic issues and I'm a chicken-hearted betatester and always wait some hours and the first reports of the fearless testers until I upgrade to a new version. So for me most of the time the non showstopper stuff is left. I participate in this group sind 1.6x I think and I often saw it happen like this. Cosmetic issues aren't important enough to delay a new final version. Complains from the whole betagroup are not enough important to delay a new final version. Sometimes I'm also missing real project coordination. Meaning for example that features are promised within the current release cycle (1.x, 2.x, 3.x) and were not implemented (partially not until now) or somehow implemented but not really working but other new and somehow spontaneous features are implemented and mainly effect whole beta cycles.
But to make one thing clear: TB is still and always THE mail client for me even if it looks like a giant construction site to me at the moment. Also I want to be sure that I'm understood the right way: All my compliment to the programmer team of TB. I'm complaining about development priorities set by Ritlabs. But with one thing you're absolutly right: Writing about things I'm not happy with is a relieve. :-) Regards, Martin -- The Bat! v3.5 powered by Windows NT Clone 5.2 Build 3790 Service Pack 1 ConCarne cooks best since 1998 http://www.concarne.org
