Hello Tony, > The reason it doesn't happen with The Bat?
> Because TB! doesn't yet observe all the rules of the IMAP protocol > and just ignores many of the commands issued by the server. Interesting enough. Do you have any concrete examples handy? The source of problems with IMAP in TB! is in the data structures used in the program and their usage with IMAP. The data structures were initially oriented to the local storage and this heavily influenced to the IMAP implementation. So, the next Beta cycle is going to be primarily about: - IMAP (many things will be rewritten) - Unicode/DBCS support - Submission Forms (as a key part of another project, but I see they can be used as a part of many solutions) I know that IMAP and Unicode become a really long story, but these are complex things with many stones under water - many can recall IMAP server-specific fixes and poor support for Unicode under Win9x... -- Best regards, Stefan mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ________________________________________________________ Current beta is (none) | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
