Finally, I've found a pattern.

Strange as it may sound, this only happens to VFs using the <'Age' 'is
less than' x> criterion and only if x is set to 9 or above. It also seem
they must watch at least one folder containing messages I have *sent*.
No, I don't see the logic, but that is how it is.

I have been able to confirm this by removing the age criteria from some
of my VFs and add it to others. Same thing happens every time, if I set
x to 9 or above, the messages list behaves as I have described above, if
I lower the value below 9, the buggy behaviour goes away. I have tried
it on two different computers and I have deleted and then recreated the
problematic VFs, to no avail.

I have not tried other age criteria, such as 'is greater than' or
'approximately is'. So far, the above will have to do.

Again, confirmations? MAU?
