The trouble is that Ritlabs launched the upgrade to v2 of TB with the promise that IMAP would be fully implemented in that version. Now, a year or so, and a paid upgrade later IMAP users are still working with a beta. I feel for Ritlabs, they are trying hard and their learning curve has been steep in this area but I'm not optimistic that they'll be able to sort out all the issues before the beginning of the monsoon season here in the UK (last weekend in August - the next bank holiday).
