I am sure that you are right, Tony. I was just joking, even though I
know this isn't funny for you. I guess all that I was trying to get
across is a simple point - one that you have just reinforced - and
that is that moving to IMAP with TB is just not very attractive yet.
This is what I meant - without meaning to be offensive - when I quoted
from Shakespeare. On one hand (the theoretical hand), we hear all of
the good things about how the IMAP protocol works; but on the other
hand (the practical hand), we hear people complaining that they cannot
get IMAP to function as promised with TB.

Personally, I like TB. I don't want to move to another email client. I
might be experimenting with IMAP today if I could feel confident that
I would not face the same type of frustration that you seem to be
experiencing. Fortunately, POP3 still serves my needs adequately.

And, by the way, I have a similar philosophy in respect to OTFE. I
will experiment with it - and feel that I got my money's worth from TB
Pro 3 - only when Ritlabs can give me a script that will upgrade my
current installation *safely* to OTFE rather than make me jump through
hoops with my fingers crossed just to get what I paid for.
