Hallo tbbeta, When I open SmartBat, it opens three files as intended, one of them is my cookie file. Yesterday I decided to swap to OTFE, so I backed up, uninstalled, deleted my message base (yes, I told it to throw it away, but that didn't work out) installed again, restored the back-up. Everything went fine.
Now I sent a message to tbudl and TB started to complain about not being able to find my cookie file. So I checked and found that my cookiefile had been encrypted (and renamed) too. Is this a bug? Should TB realize that it should not encrypt my cookie file, even though it's associated with SmartBat or should TB realize that the cookiefile has been renamed and encrypted and adjust the QT's that try to access it. For the moment I simply restored the plain text variety of my cookie file and find that SmartBat can access that just as easy. -- Groetjes, Roelof Endless Loop: (n) See Loop, Endless The Bat! 3.5.26 Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 1 pop3 accounts, server on LAN
