I'm positive it has something to do with the account.* files. Its the
only explanation as that is really the only thing that was changed in
order to get The Bat! to load.

There was nothing special about either account. One was a traditional
POP and the other was POP through the FreePOPs relay. The options
selected are no different than what I have declared in other accounts.

Some type of more descriptive logging or loading screen would have
helped identify the problem area without all this sleuthing. The
frozen Logo screen is not very helpful.
