Hi Avi,
In reply to <mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> : AY> IMO, 3.5.31 is just not strong enough for a public release. On the AY> other hand, I do appreciate being asked my opinion, but - like AY> Manuel - I was somewhat taken aback by the question. First of all, AY> I think that the question was posed too early, We need a few days AY> to use a version before we can be confident about its worth. AY> Second, I think that RL should have as clear an idea on the AY> appropriateness of a release as any of us, based on feedback over AY> those few days. Ultimately the decision to release or not to AY> release must rest in RL's hands. So I am not sure that this AY> question needs to be posed at all. I believe that it would be best AY> if RL just makes it a policy to let us do beta testing for a few AY> days on any release candidate (or beta version) before taking a AY> decision to release or not. I fully agree. In fact, in my first post, I was going to say that the question was odd an tricky but I deleted the tricky part just to avoid being misinterpreted. I was going to say that the question was tricky because lately we've been complaining about the last betas and this question would, in case we answered positively, bind us all to this version thus keeping us from complaining further. I'm SURE that this wasn't the idea at all that's why I didn't post it before. I truly think that RIT would benefit very much from deciding the timing to promote betas to release from our feedback/judgment. -- Best regards, Goncalo Farias I Print on Steel with an Industrial Laser ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.5.31 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
