Mary:

I now understand why I do not experience this problem. Some betas ago
I was getting cascading AVs upon opening. I deleted tbuser.def and the
situation improved. Of course, all my settings were lost. So while I
have been using this tbuser.def file for the last few betas, it was
deleted and rebuilt a while ago.
