Dear Vili,

I got it! ;-)

Tell us more. What server? What software? I run my own server here and
have no problems. I use MDaemon on Windows 2003 Server.

VS> If you know a solution for me, dont hold back. I would GLADLY use

VS> So, any idea how to help me?

GMail is a sound idea. As for webmail that threads ... try some
experiments yourself. Write to yourself and reply on webmail using
different services and see which ones include the References and / or
In-reply-to headers.

I echo and reinforce Leif's words when I say that there is no trout in
our repertoire about bad threading headers. The only such trout is the
"You have stolen a thread to make a new topic".

Ooops! I lie. There is one. I never use it. It does include some
interesting advice - to use a MID: reference in the message body to
provide a link back to the message you are replying to.
