I did try Alie's suggestion with adding the commands "Connect to Server" and "Disconnect to Server" on my menu bar. And that helps with correcting the number of messages read and unread and deleting them. I know this may sound dumb, but are you sure you have the correct password entered in The Bat! As it seems like TB! is the only with the IMAP problem. And also try to use the Connect and Disconnect from the server to see if that helps with the "No message loaded". I have seen that on occasion, but it was because I had something else going on in the background with my DSL Connection.
