What I meant was that the disconnect command is sent to the IMAP server, but my server does not accept it for some reason, i.e. does not answer, while in Stuart case, that does answer...
I too have had variable responses with this and TB! It is not consistent, and sometimes will work and sometimes not. Conversely, I also have had quick disconnects from the IMAP server for no apparent reason, with no input from me; it will just disconnect.. all other clients I use work fine. :(
However, I tested on two servers :)))
