And then I would try again to delete the attachment I had decided not to include in the message, and the deletion would take place, just as normal. As I wrote earlier, the AV for this has been random and infrequent. In the most recent occurrence, 2 days ago, I put a selection of .jpegs in the message which were each over a Megabyte in size. Then I looked among them to see which I would not send--to keep under Comcast's 10-MB message size limit. Twice I got the AV while deleting attached .jpegs from that message before sending. I was, as always, using the MicroEd editor--if that might have any relevance, although I don't think it did.
