Peter, I was interested in your info and link, because I did indeed
have Total Commander on my machine, but I had never used it because I
didn't know what to do with it.

So, I thought maybe I'd go acquire the plug-in.

But when I got there, it said that v. 6.5.3.0 had built-in file
transfer capability. So, I have just downloaded and installed the
later version.

Am I reading correctly? With this version I do not need a plug-in?
